Hello and Welcome!
Aerobic exercise
Aerobic exercise is a form of physical exercise that intends to improve the body’s metabolic or
energy-generating process. Many types of exercise are aerobic, and by definition are performed
at moderate levels of intensity for extended periods of time.
Some of the most recognized benefits of performing regular aerobic exercise are:
1. Strengthening the muscles involved in respiration, to facilitate the flow of air in and out of the lungs
2. Strengthening and enlarging the heart muscle, to improve its pumping efficiency and reduce the resting heart rate, known as aerobic conditioning
3. Strengthening muscles throughout the body
4. Improving circulation efficiency and reducing blood pressure
5. Increasing the total number of red blood cells in the body, facilitating transport of oxygen
6. Improved mental health, including reducing stress and lowering the incidence of depression
7. Reducing the risk for diabetes.
As a result, aerobic exercises can help reduce the risk of death due to cardiovascular problems.
Aerobic Exercise Machines
Aerobic exercise machines are equipment that are intended for performing aerobic exercises. Some of the most popular aerobic exercise machines included in this website are:
Bike Trainers
A bike trainer is a piece of equipment that makes it possible to ride a bicycle without moving forward.
They are commonly used to train for races or when riding conditions outside are not favorable. They
also allow training in settings like a gym or at home, where the user often has the advantage of
being able to engage in other activities such as viewing TV at the same time.
Abdominal Trainers
These are equipment most well known as an effective method of shaping a perfectly flat stomach in
your own home.
Elliptical Trainers
An elliptical trainer, sometimes called a cross-trainer, is a stationary exercise machine used to
simulate walking or running without causing excessive pressure to the joints, hence decreasing
the risk of impact injuries. Elliptical trainers offer a non-impact cardiovascular workout that can
vary from light to high intensity based on the resistance preference set by the user.
Exercise Bikes
An exercise bike, or stationary bicycle, is a device with saddle, pedals, and some form of handlebars
arranged as on a bicycle, but used as exercise equipment rather than transportation. An exercise
bike is usually a special-purpose exercise machine resembling a bicycle without true wheels, but it is
also possible to adapt an ordinary bicycle for stationary exercise by placing it on bicycle rollers or a
trainer. Rollers and trainers are often used by racing cyclists to warm up before racing, or to train on
their own machines indoors.
Rowers
Rowing is a sport in which athletes race against each other on rivers, on lakes or on the ocean, depending upon the type of race and the discipline.
An indoor rower, or rowing machine, is a machine used to simulate the action of watercraft rowing
for the purpose of exercise or training for rowing. Indoor Rowing has become established as a sport
in its own right. The term also refers to a participant in this sport.
Modern indoor rowers are also sometimes known as ergometers. An ergometer is a device which
measures the amount of work performed. The indoor rower is calibrated to measure the amount of
energy the rower is generating.
Ski Machines
A ski machine is a specially designed piece of fitness equipment for simulating the experience and
actions of skiing in gyms or in your own home.
Treadmills
A treadmill is an exercise machine for running or walking while staying in ONE place (at home, or
in a gym). The machine provides a moving platform with a wide conveyor belt and an electric motor
or a flywheel. The belt moves to the rear allowing a person to walk or run an equal, and necessarily
opposite, velocity. The rate at which the belt moves is the rate of walking or running. Thus, the
speed of running may be controlled and measured. The more expensive, heavy-duty versions are
motor-driven. The simpler, lighter, and less expensive versions passively resist the motion, moving
only when the walker pushes the belt with their feet.
Vibration Platform Machines
A vibration platform machine is a cutting-edge exercise equipment for whole body vibration therapy
It’s a therapeutic strength and conditioning machine. Vibration Machines can substantially improves
one’s muscle strength, performance and flexibility and enhances blood distribution.
